Southern Glass is contracted to its clients to carry out emergency replacement glazing throughout London and the South. Fortis Heavy Lift supported us on a recent project by providing lifting and assembly services in order to allow us to demonstrate to our customer our equipment in operation. We decided to use the services of Fortis Heavy Lift because of the industry knowledge and experience of Ben Holliday. The project was carried out over five months utilising mobile cranes and involved lifting sub-assemblies weighing up to eighty tonnes. Their ability to plan and execute complicated lifting operations at short notice enabled us to complete our project on time. Fortis Heavy Lift’s ability to achieve the accuracy and alignment necessary for our equipment’s assembly was beyond our expectations. The Fortis guys were extremely professional they arriving on site early so that all works could be done in the allotted time. The access and equipment which had been chosen was exactly what was needed due to the height of the doors etc. We helped each other with the lifting / replacement of the units which had the extra headache from the handrail which was not taken down as per the sites requirements & the fact the flue system could not be taken away due to only having support at high level. If we are to do any lifting on future jobs then i would suggest we definitely get a quote from Fortis.
