Who we work with
Our large crane hire service allows you to hire a suitable crane for a period of time.
Ranging from two hundred to seven hundred tonnes, we have a large selection of heavy cranes available and are able to source a crane to your exact specifications.
Our responsibilities
As part of our heavy crane hire service, we provide a trained operator and ensure that all the crane has been properly maintained, tested and certificated.
Your responsibilities
As part of the rental process, you would be fully responsible for supervising the work undertaken and would have full liability for the lift. It is therefore essential that you have a suitably qualified Appointed Person with the appropriate training, knowledge and skill set.
You will also be required to:
- Provide all Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Privde insurance for loss or, or damage to, our plant whilst on site and the goods being lifted.
- Provide insurance for public liability, injury to the operator, and injury to other parties, including their property, arising from the crane operations.
- Carry out all work in accordance with B.S. 7121 and LOLER 1998.
- Ensure that the crane hired is of a suitable type and capacity.
- Provide qualified and competent Slinger/Signallers as required.
- Plan the lift and operate a safe system of work.
